Registered Agent & Trustee

An individual or a domestic company can apply for a Registered Agent and Trustee License at FPFSA. If the intended applicant is a company, it must first be incorporated as a domestic company at the French Polynesia Commerce and Intellectual Property Office (CIPO). Proof of incorporation must be submitted along with the application to the FSA.

A registered agent must have a physical presence in FPFSA. Currently, we do not facilitate electronic transactions, and all transactions must take place at the FPFSA office. Registered Agents licensed in FPFSA are required to pay income taxes in FPFSA.

A Registered Agent may incorporate entities such as BCs, LLCs, Mutual Funds, etc. The cost of these products can be found in the Fees section. Foundations are not presently being licensed in French Polynesia.
